Academic Programs

Faith College of Natural Health

offers Certificates, Associate, Bachelor, a Master, and Doctorate level degrees in Natural Health, Holistic Health, Herbal Therapy, Functional Nutrition Therapy, Health Coaching, and Natural Health Specialist.

We accept transfer credits from all accredited private and public colleges and universities upon administration’s approval.

Credits required for Level 1 Certificate (15 credits), Advanced Level 2 Certificate (30 credits), Associates (60 credits), Bachelors (120 credits), Masters (180 credits), and Doctorates (240 credits).

Natural Health Advocate
Level 1 Certification

A Natural Health Advocate is someone that believes strongly in supporting the cause of Natural Health, both for themselves, and for their family and friends plus sharing the life-enhancing benefits of a Natural Health lifestyle with the world. Our graduates advocate for the physical, mental and spiritual well being of all people and to encourage positive health and wellness behaviors. A Natural Health Advocate is a professional who can listen to your health concerns, help you explore natural health options and provide information to help you make informed decisions.

Health Coaching
Level 2 Certification

Health coaching includes studies in the area of health, nutrition, and exercise, as well as human behavior and motivation. Health Coaches teach clients to adopt and maintain lifestyle habits that can improve their overall health and wellbeing and lower their risk and/or reduce the effects of chronic disease. Health coaching studies also include stress management, weight loss, sleep hygiene, addiction, and physical activity. Health Coaches help people discover the reasons why they need to make health improvements and identify challenges and obstacles while providing support, guidance, and accountability for making lifestyle changes.

Associate Degree Program

Natural Health Specialist
Associate Degree (AS)

This AS degree program is intended for anyone seeking a healthier life for themselves and their families to help others achieve health and wellness in a non-clinical setting through education and coaching strategies. This program is designed to provide a solid foundation for entry-level careers in traditional health settings such as hospitals, private medical offices, and public health agencies as well as integrative health and wellness organizations and companies.

Bachelor's Degree Programs

Functional Nutrition Therapy
Bachelor’s Degree (BA)

Functional Nutrition Therapy BA program will teach you the fundamentals of functional nutrition for restoring health focusing on therapeutic nutrition and supplements, digestion and GI health, hormones and endocrinology, detoxification, neurology and mental health, application of therapeutic diets (FODMAPS, Elimination Diets, Candida, SIBO, Leaky gut, Autoimmune Paleo, Balancing the Autonomic Nervous System, Anti-inflammatory, Anti Arthritic, etc., interpretating functional lab testing, marketing your business and how to get clients in a busy digital world.

Holistic Health
Bachelor’s Degree (BA)

The holistic health BA Degree focuses on the connections between physical, mental, spiritual, social, and environmental well-being, and you’ll learn about practices in Eastern and in Western medicine that promote health. You’ll study anatomy and physiology, biofeedback, stress management, nutrition, toxicity and detoxification, and alternative ways to diagnose and treat disease. You’ll also cover medical systems such as homeopathy, naturopathy, Ayurvedic medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and mind-body medicine.

Herbal Therapy
Bachelor’s Degree (BA)

Also known as herbal medicine, herbalism is the use of plants and plant extracts for health purposes. Programs in herbal therapy teach students about the effects of these herbs on health and wellness. A natural health program also includes the study of other naturopathic and phytotherapeutic disciplines. Through this practice of phytotherapy, herbal therapists use their knowledge of Chinese, ayurvedic, European and other herbal traditions for healing purposes and to prevent disease. The curriculum in this degree program focuses on the study of behavior and the application of plants in regard to natural medicine.
