Natural Health Advocate
Level 1 Certification 

A Natural Health Advocate is someone that believes strongly in supporting the cause of Natural Health, both for themselves, and for their family and friends plus sharing the life-enhancing benefits of a Natural Health lifestyle with the world. Our graduates advocate for the physical, mental and spiritual well being of all people and to encourage positive health and wellness behaviors. A Natural Health Advocate is a professional who can listen to your health concerns, help you explore natural health options and provide information to help you make informed decisions.

Level 1 Certificate (15 credits)

Natural Health Coaching
Advanced Level 2 Certification 

Health coaching includes studies in the area of health, nutrition, and exercise, as well as human behavior and motivation. Health Coaches teach clients to adopt and maintain lifestyle habits that can improve their overall health and well being and lower their risk and/or reduce the effects of chronic disease. Health coaching studies also include stress management, weight loss, sleep hygiene, addiction, and physical activity. Health Coaches help people discover the reasons why they need to make health improvements and identify challenges and obstacles while providing support, guidance, and accountability for making lifestyle changes.

This program includes 15 credits from the Level 1 Certificate for a total of 30 credits.

Level 2 Certificate (15 credits)

Holistic Health
Associate Degree (AA)

This AS degree program is intended for anyone seeking a healthier life for themselves and their families to help others achieve health and wellness in a non-clinical setting through education and coaching strategies. This program is designed to provide a solid foundation for entry-level careers in traditional health settings such as hospitals, private medical offices, and public health agencies as well as integrative health and wellness organizations and companies.

This program includes 30 credits from the Level 1 and 2 Certificates for a total of 60 credits.

Associate Degree (30 credits)

Health and Wellness
Bachelor’s Degree (BA)

When you study health & wellness, you’ll focus on the connections between physical, mental, spiritual, social, and environmental well-being, and you’ll learn about practices in Eastern and in Western medicine that promote health. You’ll study anatomy and physiology, biofeedback, stress management, nutrition, toxicity and detoxification, and alternative ways to help people with diagnosed diseases. You’ll also cover medical systems such as homeopathy, naturopathy, Ayurvedic medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and mind-body medicine.

This program requires a prerequisite Associates level degree of 60 credits for 120 total credits.

Health and Wellness
Master’s Degree (MA)

As an advocate of healthy living, a health and wellness professional utilizes many strategies and can be employed in a variety of different fields. Students earning a Master’s Degree in Health and Wellness will develop the knowledge and training needed to provide support, encouragement, and education to help people live healthier lives and prevent illness or injury. Students can also expect to acquire advanced skills related to public health insights, wellness advocacy, holistic healthcare, leadership and management, among others. 

This program requires a prerequisite Bachelors level degree of 120 credits for 180 total credits.

Master’s Degree (60 credits)

Natural Health
Doctorate Degree (MA)

Our doctoral degree program in Natural Health provides you with advanced training on one or more holistic medicine disciplines/specialties. Holistic medicine combines conventional medical science with alternative medical practices to treat patients through dietary changes, lifestyle changes and other natural therapies.

This program requires a prerequisite Masters level degree of 180 credits for 240 total credits.
